For when there is more than one of you

Once someone else is going to the job, you need to know three things: who is going, who can see the prices, and what each job made. The Crew plan is built around those, for up to 10 people.

Who is going

  • Assign the job

Pick who is going when you schedule it. Each person sees their own jobs on their own phone, and can put them on the calendar they already use.

  • The crew board

Each person side by side, for the day. Drag a job to another person or another time. On a phone, open the job and reschedule it there.

  • The customer knows who is coming

The email that says someone is on the way names them, and the customer's own page shows the name and photo of whoever is booked. How scheduling works.

Who sees what

RoleWhat it is for
OwnerFull control. For a business partner, not for staff. A business can have more than one.
OfficeQuotes, invoices, scheduling, customers and reports.
Crew leadRuns the schedule and writes quotes. No invoices and no costs.
Field techSees their own jobs. Adds photos, notes and receipts.

Only people who are given cost access see what a job cost and what it made. On the Shop plan you can also switch a single permission on or off for one person.

You invite each person by email. They sign in with that address and need no password. Each one uses TailGateBid in English or in Spanish: how the two languages work.

Leads

Leads is a board with a column for each stage: New, Contacted, Quoted, Won and Lost. A request from your website's form, or from a customer's own page, lands in the first by itself.

Each lead carries where it came from, a rough value and a day to follow up. One tap turns it into a quote.

What is left for you

You keep about $40 of every $100

A sample job from your side. Quoted at $800.00 before tax, it costs you $477.00 and leaves $323.00: you keep about $40 of every $100. On a real job you record what you spend against it as you go, and the job shows what was quoted, what it has cost so far and what is left.

Shop, when you outgrow Crew

Shop is $149 a month, for up to 50 people. It adds full reports and exports, and permissions set person by person. Compare the three plans.

Every plan starts with 30 days free, with all of this switched on. Is it just you for now? TailGateBid for a one-person business.
