Put the job on the calendar, and tell the customer you are coming

When a customer approves a quote, the job is already there, waiting for a day. Give it a date, a start time and who is going. Your customer can be emailed the appointment, and emailed again when you are on your way.

One job, start to finish

  1. It comes from the quoteAn approved quote becomes a job by itself, ready to schedule. You can also add a job by hand.
  2. Give it a dayA date, a start time, how long it should take, who is going, and instructions for the crew. Tick "Email the customer the appointment" and your customer gets the appointment by email.
  3. "I am on my way"One tap on the job, from your phone. Your customer gets an email that says who is on the way.
  4. "I have arrived", then "Mark complete"Two more taps. The job moves to on site and then to complete, for everyone who can see it.
  5. The invoiceA finished job turns into an invoice in one tap, with the deposit your customer paid already taken off.

Day, week and month

  • Your own jobs first

Each person sees their own jobs. Seeing everyone's schedule is a permission you give.

  • The crew board

Each person side by side, for the day. Drag a job to another person or another time. It is part of the Crew and Shop plans: what a crew gets.

  • The day's stops

A list of the day's jobs in order, each with a link that opens the maps app on your phone.

  • Still to schedule

Jobs with no date yet wait in one list, so an approved quote is not forgotten.

Jobs that repeat

Set a job to repeat every week, every two weeks, every month, or every so many days. The visits are made for you.

A repeating job can also send its own invoice when each visit is marked complete.

What your customer is told

  • The appointment, when you schedule a job and tick the box.
  • A reminder, the day before each visit.
  • That you are on your way, when you tap the button.
  • Each of these is an email, and it goes out in English or in Spanish, whichever you set for that customer.
  • From their own private page, a customer can confirm a visit or ask to reschedule, and the request reaches you.

On your own calendar

Each person gets a private link to add to the calendar already on their phone: Google, Apple or Outlook. Their TailGateBid jobs then show there.

It goes one way. A change made in that calendar does not change the job.

On the job

Call and directions, on the job, open your phone's dialer and its maps app.

Photos are filed as before, during or after. They stay private until you share one with your customer.

Extra work that comes up goes on a change order, which your customer approves by link before you do it.

In every plan

Jobs, the schedule and the calendar link are part of every plan. Solo is $29 a month, and each plan opens with 30 days free.

Not built yet

  • Text messages to your customer. Every message goes by email today.
  • A live map of the day. The day's stops are a list, and each one opens in the maps app on your phone.
