What it does not translate
- What you type yourself: the name of a line, a description, a note to the customer. It goes out exactly as you typed it, so write it in the language that customer reads. In this sample the lines were written twice, once for each language.
- Anything into a third language. It is English and Spanish.
How it works
Each person chooses
English or Spanish, set on their own account. Every screen exists in both, and so do the help guides.
Each customer has one
You set it once, on the customer. It can be different from one customer to the next.
The paper follows the customer
Their quotes, their invoices, their own private page and the emails TailGateBid sends them.
The screen follows the person
The same job shows in Spanish to one person on the crew and in English to another. How a crew is run.
If the crew talks in Spanish and the customer reads English
Set that customer to English and write your lines in English. The page where they approve, the invoice and the reminders all reach them in English, and your own screens stay in Spanish.
It works the other way round too. If you work in English and your customer reads Spanish, it reaches them in Spanish.
Your website too
The website that comes with your account shows in English or in Spanish, following the visitor's browser, with a link to switch.
